US President Donald Trump is set to meet with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday to finalize a trade agreement with the European Union. The deal is expected to include a base tariff of 15% on most European goods, which would put an end to months of uncertainty for European businesses.

Trump, who is in Scotland for golf and bilateral meetings, told reporters upon his arrival Friday evening: “Von der Leyen is a highly respected, and I look forward to meeting her at my golf course in Turnberry.” (Agencies)
