James O’Shea

James O’Shea is an award-winning American journalist and author. He is the past editor-in-chief of The Los Angeles Times, former managing editor of the Chicago Tribune, and chairman of the Middle East Broadcasting Networks. He is the author of three books, including The Deal from Hell, a compelling narrative about the collapse of the American newspaper industry. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.

Thomas O Falk

Thomas O. Falk is a London-based journalist and analyst focused on transatlantic relations, US affairs, and European security. With a background in political reporting and strategic analysis, he draws on in-depth research, historical insight, and on-the-ground developments to explore the forces shaping today’s geopolitical landscape.

Richard Weitz

Richard Weitz is Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at Hudson Institute. His current research focuses on Russia-China-U.S. relations along with other international security challenges. He is a graduate of Harvard University, Oxford University and the LSE. Before joining Hudson in 2005, Weitz worked for several other academic and professional research institutions and the U.S. Department of Defense. He has authored or edited several books, multiple reports, and many articles.

Samir Puri

Dr Samir Puri is the author of ‘Westlessness: The Great Global Rebalancing’ and is a Visiting Lecturer in War Studies at King’s College London. In 2025, he served as the inaugural Director of Chatham House’s Centre for Global Governance and Security.

Omar Al Qasim

Omar is the founder and editor-in-chief of Eagle Intelligence Reports, a platform dedicated to in-depth political and strategic analysis. He has extensive experience in the media field and offers analytical insights into geopolitics, international conflicts, and shifting global power dynamics.

Stephen Blank

Stephen Blank is an internationally recognized expert on Russian foreign and defense policy, Eurasian affairs, and European and Asian security. He is a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and previously held senior roles at the U.S. Institute of Peace, the American Foreign Policy Council, and the U.S. Army War College. He has authored or edited 15 books and holds a Ph.D. in Russian History from the University of Chicago.

Alexander Dubowy

Dr. Alexander Dubowy is a Vienna-based analyst specializing in geopolitical risk and security in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the post-Soviet space. With over 20 years in research, consulting, and policy analysis, he works with leading international research institutes and think tanks. Dubowy brings rigorous geopolitical and legal insight, regional fluency, and practical perspectives to his commentary.

Jahara "FRANKY" Matisek

Lt. Col. Jahara “Franky” Matisek is a U.S. Air Force command pilot specializing in conflict, strategy, and security assistance. Seong Hyeon Choi

Seong Hyeon Choi is a research fellow at the Central European Institute of Asian Studies (CEIAS) and a specialist in Chinese military affairs, North Korea’s foreign and nuclear policy, and South Korea’s defense ties with Europe.

Nicoletta Kouroushi

Nicoletta Kouroushi is a journalist and political analyst from Cyprus. She has worked with several research centers, including the Middle East Forum, and has published articles in international media outlets. Her work focuses on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Segun Adeyemi

Segun Adeyemi is a Nigerian-based journalist with extensive experience in geopolitical reporting and current affairs in West Africa.
