Israel faces more weeks of fighting against arch-foes Iran and Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, Israeli military spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin said.

Likewise, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said that members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards are commanding Hezbollah’s operations in the group’s ongoing war against Israel.

Salam again lashed out at Hezbollah for dragging Lebanon into the Middle East war by firing rockets on Israel. (AFP)
