Kurdish Militant PKK Withdraws Its Forces from Turkey to Iraq

The Kurdish militant PKK said it was withdrawing all of its forces from Turkey to northern Iraq on Sunday, in a statement published by Firat news agency. “We are implementing the withdrawal of all our forces within Turkey,” with 25 fighters — both men and women — already in northern Iraq, it said. (AFP)
