Iran continued its attacks on Gulf states on Sunday in retaliation for the ongoing US-Israeli military campaign against the Islamic Republic.

Explosions were heard in the Bahraini capital on the sixteenth day of the conflict, while the Revolutionary Guards threatened to kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Explosions rang out over Bahrain’s capital of Manama early on Sunday, two AFP journalists said.

The Iranian military launched drones and missiles against Israel, energy facilities across the Gulf, and other targets across the Middle East.

AFP correspondents witnessed thick black smoke rising from a major oil terminal in the Emirati city of Fujairah, and a drone targeted the US embassy in Baghdad, security sources said.
