Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel rebuked “almost daily” threats by US President Donald Trump against the communist island nation as an ongoing oil blockade leaves the country reeling.

“Faced with the worst-case scenario, Cuba has one guarantee: any external aggressor will encounter an unbreakable resistance,” Diaz-Canel wrote in a statement on X.
