US President Donald Trump said that the United States has complete control of the Strait of Hormuz and that no ship can enter or leave without US Navy‘s approval as the strait is “Sealed up Tight”.

On his Truth Social account, he wrote, “Iran is having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is”, suggesting internal power struggle between the “hardliners” and “moderates”.

He said that US minesweepers are currently clearing the Strait of Hormuz and ordered the US Navy to continue the activity “at a tripled up level”.

He added, “I have ordered the United States Navy to shoot and kill any boat, small boats though they may be, that is putting mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz,” asserting that all 159 Iranian naval ships have been sunk at the bottom of the sea. EIR
