Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned the United States against resuming hostilities against the Islamic Republic following a joint meeting held with regional countries in a European country, citing intelligence it received.
Tehran, according to Iranian media, threatened that in the event of any mistake or aggression against it, all American interests in the region would be subject to sustained and painful attacks, without any restrictions or reservations.
Iranian media quoted a statement from the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters as saying, “Based on information received, the United States, with the approval of some countries in the region, decided to resume hostilities against Iran at a joint meeting held in one of the European countries.”
It continued, “This comes as an attempt by America to cover up its defeats and achieve false gains in a war that began based on lies and Zionist staging and continued through deception and trickery.”
The statement added, “We warn that if the United States makes any mistake against Islamic Iran, all its bases and interests in the region will be targeted with sustained, effective, and painful strikes, without any restrictions or reservations.”
The statement continued, “We warn the countries of the region that if they persist in their duplicitous policies toward the Islamic Republic of Iran and align themselves with America, they will all be considered complicit in this aggression; therefore, they cannot expect restraint or tolerance from the powerful Iranian armed forces.”
Earlier, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until its conditions are met, its rights are recognized and the United States fulfills its commitments, according to Iranian media.
Addressing the parliament, Ghalibaf said Tehran’s messages and conditions had been explicitly conveyed to Washington through intermediaries, describing Iran’s diplomatic position as “completely clear, rational and non-negotiable.” (EIR)
