The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that they had begun ground operations in Gaza City as part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots II. “Over the past day, the IDF’s activity in Gaza City has begun according to the operational plan, and is expected to expand in line with the current situational assessment,” the IDF wrote on its official X account. “The aim is to achieve the war’s objectives in Gaza and to build on the achievements made in combat,” the statement added.
