The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait said that they had intercepted missiles and drones incoming from Iran.

The UAE’s Ministry of Defense on X posted, “UAE air defenses are currently responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran,” noting that the explosions heard were the result of the interceptions.

Likewise, Qatar‘s Defense Ministry said that Iran had fired 10 ballistic and two cruise missiles at the country a day earlier, as Tehran continued its strikes across the Gulf.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense said that it had intercepted and destroyed 14 drones, including some east of the capital, Riyadh, without mentioning any damage or casualties.

And the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport were targeted in a drone attack.
