The Gaza Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that more than 60,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war between Israel and Hamas began 21 months ago. The ministry, affiliated with the Hamas-run government, reported a total of 60,034 deaths and 145,870 injured since October 7, 2023. The ministry did not specify the number of civilians or militants killed, but said that women and children accounted for nearly half of the fatalities. (Agencies)
