Tel Aviv and Damascus are set to resume talks in Paris on Monday after Israel appointed a new delegation to hold discussions with Syria, Israeli media reported.

The talks are aimed at pursuing stability and reducing risks rather than achieving a political breakthrough.

The Israeli delegation is led by Israel’s ambassador to the US and the Israeli prime minister’s military secretary. (Agencies)
