US President Donald Trump has demanded all Middle Eastern countries to sign the Abraham Accords, starting with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, with “everybody else” following suit.
On X, stating that negotiations with Iran are “proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all,” he said that he told leaders of all Middle Eastern countries along with Turkey and Pakistan to join the Abraham Accords, citing the work the United States has done to try and pull the Middle Eastern puzzle together.
He added, “It should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords,” arguing that most countries “should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more historic event than it would, otherwise, be.”
Referring to the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan, he said “Abraham Accords have been great for them, and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East.”
He continued, “It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention.”
He also added that all the Middle Eastern countries signing the accords would help bring Iran also into the accords.
“Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition.”
Meanwhile, a high-level Iranian delegation was in Doha to discuss a peace agreement with the US and the release of frozen funds, a source briefed on the matter said.
“Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Doha earlier today for talks on ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the conflict,” the source said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
The visit will focus, the source added, “on issues relating to the Strait and highly enriched uranium. The Central Bank governor is part of the delegation to discuss the issue of frozen funds, which is addressed in the MoU as part of an eventual final deal.” EIR
