Barakah Nuclear Power Plant is the first operational nuclear power station in the Arab world. Located in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi, UAE, the 5.6-gigawatt facility features four APR-1400 reactors. It generates about a quarter of the nation’s electricity while offsetting millions of tons of carbon emissions annually.
