Eritrea: Ethiopia Claims of Tigray Mass Killings 'Cheap and Despicable Lies'

Ethiopian accusations that Eritrea committed mass killings during the Tigray war of 2020-2022 are “cheap and despicable lies”, Eritrea’s information minister said Tuesday.

The accusations “do not really merit response. (Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed) and his top military brass were profusely showering praises and state medals to the Eritrean army and its senior officers until yesterday — both during the war and long after its end,” Yemane Gebremeskel said.
