Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf praised jihadist groups on Sunday for their role in assisting the country during the US-Israeli war with Iran.
According to the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), in a message addressed to the jihadist groups, he said, “During the third imposed war, when the enemy disrupted people’s lives by bombing cities, the jihadist groups once again rushed to provide aid and relief, standing by all those affected, regardless of their social class or political leanings.”
He added, “The experience of the war has once again proven that wherever people extend their hands, great difficulties are overcome.”
ISNA quoted Ghalibaf as saying, “I express my gratitude to the generous hearts and hardworking hands that have shown that the true strength of the Islamic Republic lies in the people and their jihadist spirit.”
Meanwhile, the head of Iran’s Environmental Protection Organization, Shina Ansari, said that work on the “Regulations for Accessing Environmental Services in the Strait of Hormuz” began about two weeks ago, and its initial draft was prepared in recent days.
She told Tasnim News Agency, “The final amount of the fees and the method of collection have not yet been determined, and the initial proposals will be announced after review by the relevant authorities and agencies.” (EIR)
