China has warned US President Donald Trump’s administration against rekindling trade tensions by restoring tariffs on Chinese goods next month. It further threatened to retaliate against countries that sign deals with Washington to cut China out of supply chains.
In a commentary, China’s official People’s Daily newspaper said, “One conclusion is abundantly clear: dialogue and cooperation are the only correct path.”
