China unveiled its strategic land, sea, and air forces, which comprise its nuclear triad, for the first time during a military parade held on Wednesday to mark Victory Day. This is the first time that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s land, sea, and air strategic nuclear forces have formed a joint formation at a military parade.

According to the official Xinhua News Agency, Tian’anmen Square witnessed a display of hypersonic missiles with combat capabilities, including the Yingji-21, Dongfeng-17, and Dongfeng-26D, and cruise missiles like the Changjian-20A, Yingji-18C, and Changjian-1000.
