Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that any deal to resolve the conflict in Ukraine must not compromise Moscow’s security. “Naturally, it is Ukraine’s own decision on how to ensure its security. But this security… cannot be ensured at the expense of the security of other countries, in particular at the expense of the Russian Federation,” Putin said in China at a meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
