US President Donald Trump said that the hand of friendship to Iran is always open. Addressing the Israeli Knesset on Monday, he said, “Even to Iran, whose regime has caused so much death in the Middle East, the hand of friendship and cooperation is always open.”
He added, “This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East and it is an incredible triumph for Israel and the world.” Trump emphasized that Israel has achieved all possible victories by force of arms, and that it is now time to translate these victories against “terrorists” on the battlefield into the ultimate prize of peace and prosperity for the entire Middle East.
He continued, “From Gaza to Iran, bitter hatreds have delivered nothing but misery, suffering and failure.” He also said, “The focus of Gazans must be on restoring the fundamentals of stability, safety, dignity and economic development.” (Agencies)
