North Korea will never change its status as a nuclear-armed state, its leader Kim Jong Un said, state media reported on Tuesday.
In a policy speech delivered on Monday at the rubber-stamp legislature in Pyongyang, Kim addressed a wide range of issues, including nuclear weapons, defense policy, economic goals, and relations with both South Korea and the United States, KCNA reported.
“We will continue to firmly consolidate our status as a nuclear-armed state as an irreversible course, while aggressively stepping up our struggle against hostile forces,” he said.
Kim also told the country’s legislature that the United States was committing “state terrorism”, in an apparent reference to its military attacks on Iran. (AFP)
