Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Sunday that troops in Gaza would respond forcefully if Hamas militants carry out attacks in violation of a ceasefire.
“Hamas will pay a heavy price for every shot and every breach of the ceasefire,” Katz said in a statement. “If the message is not understood, our response will become increasingly severe.” (AFP)
