Iran has said it will host China and Russia on Tuesday for talks on its nuclear program amid European threats to reimpose sanctions. Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei said on Monday that “a trilateral consultation” with Russia and China would be held in Tehran to discuss nuclear issues and the potential reimposition of sanctions.
The trilateral dialogue is scheduled to take place tomorrow ahead of Iran’s discussions with European powers on Friday in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, Tehran accused Britain, France, and Germany of failing to uphold the 2015 nuclear agreement after the three countries threatened to reimpose sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
