The UN Security Council adopted a Gulf-Jordanian draft resolution on Iranian attacks by a vote of 13 in favor, with Russia and China abstaining.

The resolution condemns Iran’s attacks on Gulf states and several other countries in the region, deeming them a violation of international law and a threat to international peace and security.

It also condemns Iran‘s attacks on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in the Gulf and Jordan, and the resulting casualties and damage. (AFP)
