US War Secretary Pete Hegseth stressed that the US has more options while Iran has fewer, adding, “the upcoming days will be decisive, and Iran knows it.”
Speaking at a press conference, he added, “The past 24 hours have seen the fewest hostile missiles launched by Iran.”
He said, “If Iran is wise, it will reach an agreement. There has been a change in the new Iranian regime, and it must be wiser.”
For his part, US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Dan Caine said, “We are working to project power in the maritime domain by attacking high-value targets in Iran.”
He added, “In 30 days, we have achieved air superiority and struck numerous important targets in Iran. Our forces have destroyed more than 150 Iranian naval vessels.” (EIR)
