The Gulf states continue to intercept Iranian missiles and drones as the US-Israeli conflict with Iran continues.

In UAE, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said on X that one person was killed on Tuesday by shrapnel from an intercepted ballistic missile. Three explosions were also heard across Dubai early morning following a missile alert.

An oil tanker was struck by an “unidentified projectile” off Oman’s coast, UK Maritime Trade Operations said, noting there were no reported injuries.

Qatari authorities said that they had intercepted a missile attack on Tuesday.

Kuwait’s Interior Ministry said on Monday it arrested 16 people — 14 Kuwaitis and two Lebanese nationals — affiliated with Hezbollah who had planned a “sabotage plot” in the Gulf nation.
