US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the markets need more transparency from the Federal Reserve, and that four candidates are being considered for the role of Fed chair.
He stated, “I believe that the Supreme Court will not want to create chaos, and that President Trump’s actions are on sound footing.”
On Greenland, he added, “Trump has a strategic vision regarding Greenland, and we will remain part of NATO.”
He noted that the trade agreement with the European Union had not yet taken effect and that Trump has “emergency” powers to impose tariffs”. (Agencies)
