The leaders of France, Spain and Finland and top European Union leaders all issued statements welcoming the two-week pause in fighting but urging swift negotiations to bring the war to a permanent end.
Middle Eastern Countries, including Gulf states Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar, also welcomed the ceasefire and called for permanent end to war.
China, Turkey and India also welcomed the ceasefire and said would support negotiations set to take place in Islamabad.
