Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced that he will vote in favor of the plan to release the hostages in today’s cabinet meeting.
Sa’ar wrote his X account, “Israel has not given up on any of the war’s objectives, as set by the Security Cabinet.”
Stating that Israel has not given up on ending Hamas’s rule in Gaza, nor on removing the threat it poses to Israel and its citizens, he added, “It is in our interest to expand the circle of peace and normalization in the region.”
