Several areas in Iran saw a series of US-Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday targeting strategic infrastructure as US President Donald Trump‘s ultimatum to Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz approached by the end of the day.
In this context, the United States and Israel targeted the Kharg Island oil terminal, striking approximately 50 military targets, including roads, railways, bridges, an airport, and a petrochemical plant, causing power outages in parts of the country, according to Iranian media.
The strikes also resulted in the closure of a key highway linking Tabriz to Tehran, the destruction of a bridge near Qom, and damage to the Yahya Abad railway line in the cities of Kashan and Karaj, near Tehran. Agencies
