Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Amir Hatami has emphasized the army’s readiness to defend the Islamic Republic and confront the enemy’s acts of aggression.
In an online address to commanders of the Iranian Army’s ground, air defense, air, and naval forces across the country on Thursday, Hatami said, “If the enemy launches a ground invasion, none of them should survive.”
According to Iranian media, he said, “The army is prepared in both offensive and defensive capabilities to counter any acts of aggression by the enemy.”
Hatami ordered commanders to monitor enemy movements and actions with maximum vigilance, analyze them moment by moment, and implement countermeasures against the enemy in a timely manner.
