Protests Continue in Serbia to End Vučić’s Rule

Eagle Intelligence Reports • June 29, 2025 •

Tens of thousands of students took to the streets of Belgrade, demanding snap elections and an end to President Aleksandar Vučić’s 12-year rule.
Vučić, who has rejected previous calls for early elections, accused “foreign forces” of orchestrating the protests.
The protests began last December after 16 people died on November 1 as a ceiling collapsed on them at a train station in the city of Novi Sad. Protesters held the government responsible, accusing it of graft and negligence.
