The US airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities have triggered a wave of international concern and diplomatic reactions across the globe.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said: “The United States has taken measures to reduce this grave threat. We urge Iran to return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis.”

American House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries strongly criticized President Donald Trump for the strikes, accusing him of pushing the country towards war.

New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico called for restraint and a return to diplomatic resolution.

Meanwhile, Venezuela and Cuba condemned the US strikes in the strongest terms, with Havana labelling them as a dangerous escalation threatening humanity.

The EU’s Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas urged all parties to avoid further escalation, while Germany urged Iran to return to negotiations.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates expressed deep concern over the US strikes and called for a political solution to the ongoing crisis and an immediate halt of escalation.

Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Iraq also condemned the strikes calling for an immediate and comprehensive de-escalation. They warned of catastrophic regional and global consequences.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres expressed serious concerns, calling the situation a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge.
